The ceramic body delicately reproduces the qualities of materials—such as knit fabric—that are typically difficult to express in pottery. We focused on creating a texture that feels pleasant and natural in the hand, intentionally leaving the exterior unglazed. Every step of the TraceFace creation process is done by hand. The finish, which faithfully captures the raw character of the original material, possesses a depth that invites you to imagine the story behind its making.
